Congratulations and best wishes for sharing your distinguished career in surgery and sport. The photographs are an incredibleand permanent part of SriLankan Medical History.Five uncles of mine served in rural Ceylon and would recount similar stories but sadly no photos.A picture is better than a thousand words and we are very appreciative of you creating a photographic record of your journey and it will remain an important part of SL history. We are impressed by your Faith and Humanity and as a batch mate very proud of your achievements.
Dear Chandi
Thank you very much for your comment. Much appreciated. I had collected a whole lot of documents and photos from my school days, then FOM, Colombo followed by collection of photos taken during my days in various hospitals. I thought this is the best way to use these to educate and inspire the younger generation. Then Covid 19 visited us followed by lockdown and curfew and during this time I started this site. Now I will continue this as my hobby as I have many more stories to write with illustrations. As you say writing without photographs has no impact. Please visit my site when you are not busy in your farm. You are also free to share with friends down under.
Best wishes- Gamini
This was just the data that I needed to complete my essay. Thanks! Hope I get an A because of you!
My brother saved this weblog for me and I have been reading through it for the past couple hrs. This is really going to benefit me and my classmates for our class project. By the way, I like the way you write.
Dear Doctor ,

Amazing Doctor. I am proud to be a Srilankan because of you Dr Gamini. You deserve the Nobel Peace Prize for Medicine.
